For more than 13 years, the Star has provided dedicated apps for sports content. Starting today, Sunday, Feb. 2, we are rolling out a new version of The Wildcaster app for iOS devices.
You’ll see the same great stories you have come to expect, plus content focused on our new Big 12 opponents and fresh high school sports highlights and athlete profiles.
The “Latest” tab in the new version of The Wildcaster app displays a list of the latest stories across all sports that we cover.
The new version simplifies navigation into five tabs.

Access to stories has changed to bring the app in line with our website, and a subscription will be required to access content.
If you are already an Arizona Daily Star or Tucson.com subscriber, access to the new sports app is included with your current subscription. Just sign in to The Wildcaster using your Tucson.com login credentials.
If you are not yet a subscriber, you can get a full access digital subscription at Tucson.com that gives you access to the new sports app, plus full, unrestricted access to everything Tucson.com has to offer. If you’d just like access to the new sports app without everything else from Tucson.com, you can use the convenient $4.99 monthly in-app subscription option.
The new version of The Wildcaster, which is not yet available for Android users, can be downloaded now in Apple’s App Store.
We hope you like the new changes, and we appreciate your continued support of the Star reporters, columnists and editors who bring you the best sports coverage around.
