Day 2 of the draft has ended.
Rounds 2-3 of the 2026 NFL Draft took place on Friday in Pittsburgh. Detroit kept it local with its second-round pick, taking Michigan defensive end Derrick Moore with the No. 44 overall pick. The Lions originally had the No. 50 pick in the draft before trading with the New York Jets for the higher slot.
Moore wasn't the only Michigan player selected on Day 2. The Houston Texans selected Michigan tight end Marlin Klein with the No. 59 overall pick in the second round, while the Dallas Cowboys selected Wolverines edge rusher Jaishawn Barham with the No. 92 overall pick in the third round.

The Las Vegas Raiders unsurprisingly took Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick, while the Los Angeles Rams made the most headline-worthy choice by picking Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson at No. 13 overall.
