Boogie Woogie piano player Arthur Migliazza doesn't call Tucson home anymore.
Thankfully, he returns every now and again to remind us just exactly what we are missing.
Migliazza, shown above in a photo from 2007, is good. Damn good.
Watching his fingers fly across the keys is just as entertaining as listening to him flawlessly execute the melodies he chooses to play.
Migliazza performs at the Fox this Friday with fellow piano player Bob Baldori, in a theatrical performance, dubbed "Boogie Stomp!"
The Fox describes the show as "the story of past and present piano masters, and the vibrant music that emerges from their lives. This story is presented as a different kind of musical by two of the best performers of American piano music in the world, Bob Baldori and Arthur Migliazza, who inform, entertain, teach, preach, dance, and boogie their way through a performance like no other.
