This German food is hugely popular this time of year. You can find it at Oktoberfest celebrations, and also make it yourself pretty easily.
Jean Brett, president of the German-American Club of Tucson, told us how she prepares bratwurst at home.
While some people like to grill them, Brett says she browns the sausages in a pan on the stove. Cook over medium heat until brown, then add a little water, reduce the heat and let them simmer.
A couple of Brett's tips: Buy precooked bratwurst so you don't have to cook them so long; and for added flavor, soak the sausages in beer before you cook them.
