There are a few terrific shows coming to Tucson over the next handful of days including Blues Traveler on Friday, April 14, at the Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St. (8 p.m., $35 at ticketfly.com). Also on Friday, R&B legends The Spinners take the stage at 8 p.m. at the Desert Diamond Casino, 1100 W. Pima Mine Road ($20-$40 at startickets.com).
Meanwhile, hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg arrives with Cypress Hill and Berner at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the AVA at Casino del Sol, 5655 W. Valencia Road ($40 through tickets.casinodelsol.com).
Or check out a trio of family friendly Gaslight Theatre shows at both locations: Oro Valley’s Gaslight Music Hall, 13005 N. Oracle Road, 529-1000; or the original Gaslight Theatre, 7010 E. Broadway, 886-9428.
- The Titan Valley Warheads share the Gaslight Music Hall stage with Scattered Grass for the first-ever Gaslight Bluegrass Jamboree. It’s from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18; $12.50 at the door.
- Gaslight Theatre regulars Mike Yarema and Walker Foard perform “Homeward Bound,” a tribute to Simon & Garfunkel, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Gaslight Music Hall. It’s $25 at the door.
- Tucson vocalists Erahn Patton, Courtney Washington and Mitzi Smith cover the greatest hits by the “Legendary Ladies of Soul” — Tina Turner, Etta James, Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and others. It starts at 7 p.m. Monday, April 17 at the Gaslight Theatre. Admission is $21.95 at the door.
