In addition to the classes at the Rhythm Industry Performance Factory mentioned on Page 27, there are plenty of ways you can get involved with the arts in Millville.
• The Danceloft (thedanceloft.com) offers a variety of classes covering ballet, modern, hip-hop and more. Hip hop classes are taught by Anton Smith, director of the Human Project hip-hop ensemble.
• The 17th Street Guitars and World Music store offers free guitar classes for beginners on Thursdays and drumming circles on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Live-music acts from around Tucson perform at the store on Saturdays. For times and other info, go online to treasureshidden.com.
The market will celebrate the grand reopening of 17th Street Guitars in its new space with a free blues-guitar and acoustic-instrument workshop hosted by national artist Steve James on Wednesday and a luthier show with free performances from Stefan George and Harvey Brooks on Oct. 25. Wednesday's workshop begins at 4:30 p.m., and the Oct. 25 event starts at 10 a.m.
