Indie rappers Eligh and The Grouch are members of the California hip-hop act Living Legends.
They've teamed up for a new album, "Say G&E!," and a joint tour that hits Club Congress on Wednesday.
Both rappers write intelligent lyrics, and their club beats come with plenty of hip-hop experimentation, so be prepared to listen as well as dance.
You should also expect to see local folk singer Jo Wilkinson at the show and possibly onstage.
Wilkinson is Eligh's mom. In March, the two released an album, "On Sacred Ground: Mother and Son." It featured folk guitar, funky beats and Wilkinson's vocals alongside Eligh's rapid-fire delivery.
Opening the show is Los Angeles' EdIT and Afro Classics (featuring Scarub, also of Living Legends).
