One weekend, three big festivals. How's a Tucson music lover to choose?
First up is Fall Ball 2009, presented by KFMA (92.1 FM).
Rise Against, The Used, Flyleaf, Misfits, Eyes Set to Kill, and Paper Tongues will perform at the Fall Ball, which is Oct. 3 at the Pima County Fairgrounds.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at all Tucson Catalina Marts and will cost $20 for the first 24 hours.
The fall Club Crawl is also Oct. 3, with dozens upon dozens of bands (mostly local) performing at just about every Downtown and North Fourth Avenue venue. It's presented by the Tucson Weekly. Advance tickets go on sale Saturday at both Zia Records locations for $8. For more information, go to clubcrawl.ning.com
Finally, we have KLPX's X Fest on Oct. 4, also at the fairgrounds. The festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a lineup that includes REO Speedwagon, Styx, War, Great White and Eddie Money.
