A Tucson man convicted in a double slaying was captured Sunday, two days after he broke out of prison in Kingman, but two other inmates were still at large.
The three men escaped Friday from the Arizona State Prison in Golden Valley, near Kingman, after they cut through a fence.
At about 5 a.m. Saturday, the group kidnapped two drivers of a semi-truck in Kingman and forced them at gunpoint to drive two hours east to Flagstaff. The drivers were left unharmed at a truck stop off Interstate 40.
Authorities suspect the inmates were aided in their escape by Casslyn Mae Welch, 44, the fiancée of escapee John C. McClusky, 45.
Tucson double-murderer Daniel K. Renwick, 36, was captured early Sunday in Colorado, about 670 miles from the prison and three hours outside Denver, after a police chase and a gunfight, said Barrett Marson, spokesman for the Arizona Department of Corrections. Renwick was driving a Chevrolet Blazer and was alone in the vehicle.

Renwick was convicted in Pima County of two counts of second-degree murder, and in 2002 he was sentenced to two consecutive 22-year terms. He shot his ex-girlfriend, Kara L. Walker, 19, and her father, Daniel E. Walker, 55, in an October 2000 ambush after learning he was not the father of Walker's then-14-month-old son. The toddler was with his mother and grandfather when they were shot but was unharmed.
Still on the loose was another Tucson killer, Tracy Allen Province, 42. He and an accomplice were convicted in Pima County in 1993 of one count each of murder and robbery.
The men were on a weekend pass from a Tucson halfway house in January 1991 when they confronted Norman Knoblich, 56, as he locked up a midtown laundromat. The killers stabbed Knoblich 48 times before taking his wallet, leaving him to die as they headed out with their friends to a bar.
The third escapee, McClusky, was convicted in Maricopa County last year of second-degree murder, aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm. He received a 15-year sentence.
Officials believe they still are in Arizona and may be with Welch.
