Three local musicians will perform Sunday as part of the summer concert series at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church.
The Friends of Music's series continues at 2 p.m. at the church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave.
Danny Katzen, Ben Nisbet and Elena Miraztchiyska will present a collection of short pieces for violin, horn and piano, followed by Johannes Brahms' great chamber piece for horn, violin and piano - the Horn Trio, op. 40.
Katzen is professor of horn at the University of Arizona, after having served as second horn in the Boston Symphony for almost 30 years. He can be heard on classical CDs as well as in the soundtracks of many motion pictures.
Nisbet is a member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, a founding member and musical director of Artifact Dance Project, concertmaster of the Bella Carita Chamber Orchestra, principal second violin of Tucson Chamber Artists, and a founding member of the Kingfisher String Quartet.

Bulgarian pianist Miraztchiyska, a doctoral candidate at UA, made her solo debut with the Bulgarian Chamber Orchestra in her home country at the age of 12 and since then has appeared as concerto soloist and in solo and collaborative recitals in Bulgaria, Poland, Japan and the United States. She was a winner of the 2010 President's Concert Competition at UA and the 2012 Lois Trester Piano Competition Winner.
In addition to the Brahms trio, Nisbet, Katzen and Miraztchiyska will perform music they love to play.
