A 21-year-old Coolidge woman, who was seven months pregnant, suffered fatal gunshot wounds Thursday night but medical personnel were able to succesfully deliver her baby, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department.
A man has been arrested in the shooting.
The shooting occurred in an unincorporated subdivision outside the Coolidge city limits.
There was an altercation at a residence in the Desert Beach area near Coolidge that lead to a shooting, the sheriff’s department said.
Angel Bollinger of Coolidge and 23-year-old Harvey Rushing Jr. were shot. The two victims somehow managed to make it to outside the Galloping Goose Bar in Coolidge, where authorities were notified.
Bollinger died from her wounds and Rushing, who was shot in the arm, was taken to a hospital in Phoenix and listed in stable condition.

Medical personnel delivered Bollinger’s baby, who has been taken to a Phoenix hospital.
Ronald James Thompson, 31, of Casa Grande was arrested and charged with murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
