Banner University Medical Center Tucson - RN Operations Support Specialist, Critical Care
BSN, RN
American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
My journey in nursing began as a CNA working in memory care and hospice, where I developed a deep respect for compassionate, patient-centered care. Inspired by the nurses I worked alongside, and by family members who are nurses, I was motivated to pursue nursing as a profession. I am deeply grateful to God for guiding my path and providing me with the strength and purpose to serve others through this work.
I have now been a nurse for nine years, with a strong background in neurocritical care. Throughout my career, I have also held leadership roles that have enabled me to support both patients and staff at a broader level. Currently, I work closely with newly hired staff and new graduate nurses, helping them to build confidence and meet milestones as they transition into practice. I am actively involved in multiple hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives, always striving to enhance patient outcomes and care processes.
