The Arizona women’s basketball team added another experienced frontcourt player Saturday.
The Wildcats’ latest — and possibly last — addition in the 2026 transfer cycle is 6-foot-2 forward Anastasiia Semenova.
Semenova is from St. Petersburg, Russia. She spent the past four seasons at Boston University, including a redshirt year in 2024-25.
Semenova averaged 9.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this past season, both career highs. She shot 49.8% from the field, also a career-best mark.
Semenova is the third frontcourt addition to the UA roster via the portal, joining Gerda Raulušaityte (USC) and Breanna Williams (Maryland).
Arizona now has 12 players for 2026-27: three returnees, four portal additions and five incoming freshmen. Teams can have 15 players on scholarship, but the Wildcats typically carry 12-13.
