Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Gino Crump will play in Monday's Casino del Sol College All-Star Game, officials said, giving the UA six players in the Kino Stadium contest.
Crump was arguably Arizona's most surprising player as a senior, catching 65 passes for 610 yards and two touchdowns. At 6 feet 2 inches and 210 pounds, Crump - who started his college career at West Virginia before transferring to the UA - is seen as a prototypical NFL wide receiver.
However, his limited college reps could turn scouts off. Crump caught just four college passes before his breakout season.
Crump is the sixth UA player to commit to the game, which 90 college seniors in a showcase for NFL scouts and fans. Linebackers Paul Vassallo and Derek Earls, defensive ends Mohammed Usman and C.J. Parish and safety Robert Golden are the others.
