Thanks to the arrival of New Hamphshire big man Kaleb Tarczewski, Arizona's 2012 recruiting class reached the top of Rivals' new class rankings released today.
The Wildcats were already ranked No. 1 by ESPN even before they landed Tarczewski on Monday. They will also be placed in the top spot by Scout when its rankings are updated, according to Scout analyst Evan Daniels.
After the fall signing period begins on Nov. 9, the Wildcats are expected to sign four Top 50 players: Tarczewski, forwards Brandon Ashley and Grant Jerrett and guard Gabe York.
"Things will change and I don't know if they'll stay at the top, but right now they have the No. 1 class," Rivals analyst Jerry Meyer said. "It's huge for Arizona to have three quality frontcourt players. Big guys are tough to come by."
