The Arizona Wildcats football team will receive unprecedented national television exposure this fall.
ABC and ESPN released its 2010 broadcast schedule this morning, and the Wildcats are featured in five games.
However, the national exposure has its price — the Wildcats will play two Friday games and one Thursday game to fill ESPN’s appointed "windows".
A look at Arizona’s five "national" games:
— The Wildcats will open their 2010 season at Toledo on Friday, Sept. 3. The 5 p.m. game will be shown nationally on ESPN.
— ESPN will also carry the Wildcats’ Sept. 18 home game against Iowa. Arizona’s showdown with the Hawkeyes starts at 7:30 p.m.
— ABC has picked up Arizona’s Nov. 13 home game against USC, and moved the start time to 6 p.m.
