The Arizona football program continues to scoop up prospects at a frenetic pace.
The UA secured its 21st commitment for 2017 on July 3 when safety Rhedi Short pledged his allegiance to the Wildcats.
Scout rates Short, a one-time UCLA commit, as a three-star prospect and the No. 7 safety in the West. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Short attends Cathedral High in Los Angeles.

Short is the fourth defensive back to join the 2017 class — fifth if you include four-star athlete Greg Johnson of L.A.’s Augustus Hawkins.
