Plan your visit to the fair:
Visit Circle K for free fair programs on the day before your visit to the fair! The Pima County Fair programs include daily highlights, hourly activities and a map to help you strategize your fun!
Parking:
Saturdays and Sundays often have high attendance and there can be delays in traffic coming into the fairgrounds and going out of the fairgrounds. Avoid peak traffic time by planning to arrive at the fair by 2:00 p.m. and leave by 9:00 p.m. There are also shuttles in the parking lots to transport you to and from your car. The parking lots will have new signs in the rows of parking to help you remember where you parked.
Carnival:
Remember that the carnival opens at 2:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and opens at 11:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you want to arrive earlier to the fairgrounds, there are plenty of exhibits, animal barns and buildings open to the public.

Hate standing in line?
Thursdays at the fair are highly attended due to the Wristband Night promotion. If you are here to enjoy all that the fair has to offer but don’t care for carnival rides, consider attending on a Friday or Wednesday night to avoid the crowds.
When visiting the fair with young children:
The Pima County Fair offers strollers and wagons to rent, as well as a baby’s convenience tent in a quiet area located in Central Park. Tent includes a table and baby wipes for changing and a curtained section with seating for breastfeeding mothers. Tent is open from 11:00 – 6:00 each day. Also located in Central Park is Kiddie Land, complete with carnival rides for smaller children. There is also the Kid Zone with activities for children under 10 years of age. The Kid Zone is open from 11:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Interactive Science Center and the Agriculture Activity Centers are located in Old Pueblo Hall and are designed for hands-on fun for the little ones! The Petting Zoo is always a favorite and located directly across from the fair administration office.
