Accomplishments: Gardner, a four-time All-American, was named the Naismith National Player of the Year in 2002-03, given to the nation's best player 6-feet and under. He was the National Freshman of the Year in 1999-2000. He is a member of Arizona's Ring of Honor, and his No. 22 jersey is retired. Gardner also ranks in the top 10 in UA history in the following categories:
