A missing Tucson woman was found dead Friday morning near her East Side home, police said.
Tucson homicide detectives are investigating, calling the death of Lori Daigle, 44, suspicious. Daigle was reported missing about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, said Sgt. Mark Robinson, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
She was last seen on Monday by a male friend who had taken her to a CVS Pharmacy near East Golf Links and South Pantano roads, Robinson said. The man said he dropped Daigle off about 9:30 p.m. at her home in the 8400 block of East Stella Road, near South Camino Seco, Robinson said.
The next morning, Daigle’s daughter, who lives with her mother, couldn’t find her. She called her grandmother who said she was going to take a flight into Tucson, Robinson said.
When the grandmother arrived Thursday, she reported Daigle missing to police, Robinson said. A detective working the missing persons case went to Daigle’s house to investigate and found her body near the home about 11 a.m. Friday, Robinson said.
