PHOENIX – Senator Hillary Clinton has picked up the endorsement of Arizona Congressman Ed Pastor.
Pastor endorsed Clinton for president Sunday after her victory in the Nevada caucus.
In a news release, Pastor said Clinton has the "leadership, experience and ability" that Arizonans need, specifically sighting her plans to improve the economy.
"She is someone who understands the daily challenges the people of Arizona are facing, and her economic stimulus plan will bring much-needed relief to this country," Pastor's release read.
Pastor said if Clinton is elected Americans "will have a voice again."
Other local leaders that have endorsed candidates for president include Governor Janet Napolitano and Senator Jon Kyl.
Napolitano recently endorsed Senator Barack Obama and Kyl endorsed fellow U.S. Senator, John McCain.

Congressman Raul Grijalva has endorsed John Edwards.
And State Rep. Pete Rios of Hayden, Senate Minority Leader Marsha Arzberger of Willcox and Senate Minority Whip Rebecca Rios of Hayden have all backed Clinton.
