The Arizona Daily Star's national-award-winning Web site will launch a new look this morning at azstarnet.com
This is the sixth major redesign of Azstarnet.com since 1995.
StarNet users will see three key improvements shortly after 9 a.m. today, according to the Star's online editor, John Bolton:
• Streamlined navigation and organization for a more attractive presentation that has less clutter and highlights key local, national and reader-submitted content in addition to breaking news alerts.
• A search function that results in locating a greater variety of content, including photos and past stories.
• Targeted advertising. The new ad-delivery system is designed to deliver the right ad message to the right site user at the right time. Site users will see more ad messages that interest them.

StarNet's new platform also will allow the Star "to easily share content and resources with other newspapers in our company," Bolton said.
Lee Enterprises owns 49 daily newspapers, including the Arizona Daily Star. The Star and StarNet are among Lee's largest local news operations.
StarNet reaches more than a million unique visitors each month and posted a record 128 million page views in 2009.
Bolton advised site users to click through the options in the top navigation bar of the Web site to familiarize themselves with the new organization of StarNet.
Feedback is welcome at comments@azstarnet.com and Bolton will answer StarNet questions in a live chat at 4 p.m. today online at azstarnet.com
