Food drive on Saturday for Marana Food Bank
The Ace Hardware store at 11921 N. First Ave. is hosting a "Dive Into Hunger" event Saturday.
The public is asked to bring nonperishable food items to fill a portable swimming pool in the parking lot at the store.
Donations will go to the Marana Community Food Bank.

TEP, Trico accepting applications for trees
It's the time of year to start requesting trees through the Trees for Tucson program for delivery in September and October.
Trees can be delivered to homes throughout much of the metropolitan Tucson area. This includes homes within about a 30-mile radius from the center of Tucson, whether in the Tucson Electric Power Co. or Trico Electric Cooperative service area.

Trees are $8 each.
Owners of homes that were built in 1980 or later, or older homes with double-pane windows, may receive up to two trees.
Homes built in 1979 or before and do not have double-pane windows may receive up to four trees.
Tucson Electric Power customers can visit www.treesfortucson.org for an application or call 791-3109.
Trico Electric Cooperative members can visit www.trico.coop or call 744-2944.
