Currently, 3 percent of our budget comes from Arizona tax credits. Money raised from the Arizona tax credit goes to cover the costs of new undergarments, makeup and overhead.
Our mission is to assist women emerging from devastating circumstances, helping restore them to productive lives, breaking the cycle of poverty. Our greatest need is for financial support.
For over a decade, women in Southern Arizona who have risen from domestic abuse, substance abuse, incarceration and other devastations have been directed to Eagles as a critical step on their paths to economic opportunity and renewed lives.

Eagles’ Clothed in Compassion program outfits them with professional clothing and accessories that, along with the substantial assistance from Eagles volunteers, provides a fundamental element of preparation for renewed employment.
Women leave Eagles confident in their appearance as they go to their job interviews and begin work.
For up to two years, Eagles provides continued mentoring support that is often otherwise lacking as the women strive to adapt to their new jobs and new circumstances.
Our latest class, Let’s Get Cooking, provides healthy cooking options. Made to Crave Bible study teaches how to encourage healthy choices over unhealthy ones.
From its founding in 2007, Eagles has been inspired by Christian faith and values, and has drawn on Tucson’s faith community for most of its volunteers, donations of clothing and accessories, and for financial support.
It serves women of all heritages, ethnicities and religions without proselytizing. Importantly, Eagles has grown and developed as the value of the service it provides has been increasingly recognized by organizations that provide initial services to women in need.
Currently we have over 65 organizations that refer women to us. Those organizations are eager to pass along to Eagles those women who are ready for the next step in recovering their lives.
As women leave devastating circumstances in increasing numbers — due to opioid addiction and battered-wife issues, there are many in need of basic clothing — the pressure on Eagles’ services has grown.
In 2018, we hired our first part-time employee; we have grown to helping over 500 clients a year. With the Tucson community’s help, we will continue giving women dignity, purpose and hope.
