The YMCA of Southern Arizona's Triangle Y Ranch Camp is taking registration for youth summer camps.
Triangle Y is in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, 40 miles north of Tucson.
One-week sessions are offered on the following dates on varied topics. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Ranchers Camp runs June 10-July 27 for children ages 12-17. Cost is $600 per session.
Ranchers will live and work as real "ranch hands," working with horses to gain experience in roping and handling the trail.
Veterinarians and other equine professionals will visit and give campers an opportunity to learn, grow and discover the world of horses.
Explorer Camp runs June 10-July 27 for children ages 7-9. Cost is $400 per session. This camp offers a lower camper-to-staff ratio, and explorers participate in traditional camp activities.
