I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1992 from the Philippines. My nursing career spanned three decades. I have extensive experience in nursing, including surgery (Philippines); In 1997, as a Nurse Paramedic in the Dubai Police Force; a year in Accident and Emergency in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2001, in the United Kingdom, for 16 years in different specialties, namely at the Gloucestershire Hospital-NHS Trust in Urology, as Charge Nurse at Sheffield Teaching Hospital -NHS Trust, Directorate in General Surgery specializing in Pancreatic and Biliary surgery, and Claremont Private Hospital in Sheffield, catering to Plastic, Ophthalmic, Neuro, Gynae, and Bariatrics cases.

In 2017, I worked as an International Travel Nurse (ITN) for two years at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson, in Unit 9 North-South. Carrying on working at 9NS after I finished my ITN contract, I am one of the Charge Nurses on nights. In my 8 years at BUMCT, I have received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses and a CCO award.
Commitments and diligence in providing individualized and holistic care have always been a priority for me in achieving high-quality care, and supporting my work colleagues would always promote motivation, assertiveness, commitment, confidence, and efficient teamwork.
