After leading Arizona men's basketball to wins over BYU and Houston last week, UA wing Anthony Dell'Orso was named to the Big 12's weekly "Starting Five" honor roll.
BYU forward AJ Dybantsa was named the league's Player and Newcomer of the Week after scoring 35 points in the Cougars' loss to Arizona and collecting 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in BYU's win over Iowa State. Dybantsa also played 84 of 85 possible minutes on the week.
Dell'Orso, meanwhile, was named to the five-player honor roll after scoring 22 points against both BYU and Houston to lead Arizona to victories against those teams.

UCF’s Themus Fulks, Cincinnati’s Moustapha Thiam and Colorado’s Bangot Dak were also named to the five-player honor roll.

Fulks averaged 19.0 points and 5.5 assists over wins against TCU and Utah, Thiam had a career-high 28 points and eight rebounds in the Bearcats' upset win over Kansas and Dak had 17 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in CU's 83-69 win over Oklahoma State.
