Nothing brings people together more than a cozy cup of coffee flavored with notes of warm cinnamon and rich maple.

Now combine that with the ultimate fall comfort show: “Gilmore Girls.”

It doesn’t get any cozier than that!

That’s exactly why more than 20 local businesses are coming together to put on the tastiest “Gilmore Girls”-inspired challenge that makes you feel like you just took a trip to Stars Hollow.

Earlier this week, 1989 Bakehouse announced its new Gilmore Girls Loteria challenge where participants can print out a bingo card, or pick one up at a participating business, and fill out the spots in order to win a prize.

Each spot is dedicated to a specific local business, such as Espressoul, Coop by Cowpig, Café A La C’art and Popcycle, that’ll be offering a special,“Gilmore Girls”-themed treat. Once you order your drink or dessert, they’ll stamp their spot for you and you’re free to move on to the next place!

Some businesses have already shared their special lattes, each encapsulating that cozy feeling you get while watching “Gilmore Girls.”

Espressoul Café at 1525 N. Wilmot Road will be offering a Dragonfly Inn latte, a brown sugar cinnamon espresso latte topped with a fluffy, vegan vanilla soft top.

Over at HeeMee Bakery at 20 E. Congress St. and 800 E. University Blvd., the bakery has three drinks on their menu, including the Dean, My Dean latte, which is a sweet double caramel latte.

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, head to Licks Ice Cream and Coffee at 16130 N. Oracle Road, where they will be serving up Emily’s Christmas Cookie ice cream, a creamy snickerdoodle flavor mixed with sugar cookies, icing and sprinkles.

Once you get five stamps in a complete vertical, horizontal or diagonal row, it counts as a win! When you get three wins, you can bring your completed card to 1989 Bakehouse to claim your completion prize.

As we head into the season of giving, it’s the perfect time to support local and indulge in a delicious fall treat. It’s what Lorelai and Rory would want!
