The Barbea Williams Performing Company leaps into the Dark Continent with "Legacies of Africa," a celebration of Black History Month looking at Africa's cultures through dance and music.
Joining Williams' dance company for the performances are Axe' Capoeira Arizona; choreographer-dancer Anton Smith, and UA Afrikana Dance Ensemble.
It's happening at 7:30 p.m. next Friday; and 3 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26, at Dunbar Culture Center, 325 W. Second St. Tickets are $10 at the door. Call 628-7785 for reservations and information.
