It'll be a Woods family affair on Monday when Rex Woods, University of Arizona faculty member and pianist, invites his wife and two sons on stage with him.
The Woods family - mother Mary is an accomplished singer; son Alexander is a violinist carving a chamber music career; and youngest son Garrick, who has performed with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops Orchestra and the Missouri Symphony Orchestra, is pursuing a master's degree at the UA - will perform an eclectic recital of "German Romantic Gems." The program includes works by Schumann, Brahms and Weber.
Monday's concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Crowder Hall, North Park Avenue and East Speedway. Admission is $5 online at arizona.tix.com or through the Fine Arts Box Office, 621-1162.
