The odds of finding a musician who's not jaded by the music industry, especially in an industry hub like Los Angeles, can be one in a million.
Make that one in a Million Billion.
Gavin Bellour is the guitarist for the L.A.-based rock trio Million Billion, a band with less than two years under its belt. The group went on its first national tour in June — not nearly enough time to develop a healthy distaste for the road.
"We are getting pretty used to it," said Bellour in a phone interview two weeks ago from the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City. "You catch up on your reading, your music, keep up with your e-mail and stuff. You get into your rhythm and make friends everywhere. There is a lot of fun and adventure to be had."
Million Billion's only stop in Tucson during its touring so far has been a night's rest on the way from Austin to Los Angeles sometime earlier this year, says Bellour.

But the Old Pueblo will get its chance to catch the band's guitar, bass and drum rock rhythms when it comes to Skrappy's, 201 E. Broadway, Tuesday with the Hanks, the Shaw and Feel Good Revolution.
Million Billion is touring under its debut album released digitally earlier this month, "Ready. Fire. Aim."
The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $5 through Skrappy's, 358-4287.
