The Tucson Tango Festival last year attracted about 350 people from 27 states and four countries.
Organizers expect the event, now in its second year, will be even bigger when it starts March 4. It runs through March 8, and will be held at the Holiday Inn Palo Verde, 4550 S. Palo Verde Road.
The festival features a variety of workshops for all levels of dancers, topped off with milongas, or social dances.
Dancers can save about 20 percent on some packages by registering by midnight today.
The cost for all of the milongas is $100 today, and $120 starting Friday. The full festival, which includes 27 classes and eight milongas, is $275 today and $295 starting Friday.
Workshops and beginners sessions can also be purchased individually.
