Tucson police are looking for three men who robbed four convenience stores this week, including three early today.
The men robbed two Circle K’s and a Quik Mart within 45 minutes this morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, said Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Pacheco and a police news release gave the following information:
The robbing spree began just after 2 a.m. Wednesday when three men armed with handguns went into the Circle K at 8630 E. Golf Links Road and ordered the clerk on the ground.
The robbers took all the money from the cash register, dragged an ATM to the back of the store and took the money from inside the machine.
They struck again today at 4:48 a.m., when two of the men walked into a Circle K at 7900 E. Broadway with handguns and ordered the clerk to the floor. They took the money from the cash register, but were unable to pry open the ATM.
