Several local road construction projects continue, and a few have changing traffic patterns or lane restrictions coming up.
Thornydale widening
Intermittent lane closures continue during the day on North Thornydale Road from West Orange Grove Road to Regency Plaza Drive.
The right through-lane of northbound River Road at Orange Grove continues to be restricted to right turns only.
Southbound Thornydale just south of Ina Road continues to be reduced to one lane.
The right-turn lane on southbound Thornydale at Costco Drive and the right westbound lane of Costco Drive will be closed for utility work beginning Monday.
Other lane restrictions in the area continue. Watch for signs and crews working in the area.

I-10 widening: Tangerine to Pinal Air Park
From 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. intermittent lane closures are scheduled for I-10 in both directions in the work area.
The work continues to take place Sunday through Thursday nights.
Watch for Marana Road ramp closures in the beginning of the week.
Fourth Avenue Underpass
Many of the detours on the south end of North Fourth Avenue and the east end of Downtown remain in effect for this project.
In addition, the intersection of Fourth Avenue and East Ninth Street is closed to traffic for waterline work.
This closure is scheduled to continue through the first week of February, but pedestrians and bicycles are allowed.
