BISBEE — With the exception of the final rolling and packing, the county road between Bisbee and the terminal of the Bisbee-Douglas state highway below Lowell has been completed. The section of the road comprising Main street, Lowell, is finished.
The top coating of oil on the road is already coming to the surface in many places on the road, and with the final rolling process it will be dust proof.
Yesterday, when the hardest dust storm in the district this year occurred, the winds could not start anything in the way of dust on the road, and this was noted and commented on by all who passed between Bisbee and Lowell.

The worst sand storm in years is reported to have occurred at Douglas yesterday, it becoming necessary to close stores and suspend business during the worst part of it.
Warren also experienced a stinging dust and wind storm. One severe puff of wind blew one of the big park lights from its stand and carried it across the park.
