A Blowing Dust Advisory is in effect for areas west and northwest of Tucson from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Two storm areas of storm activity are expected to develop today in Southeast Arizona, the National Weather Service in Tucson said in a Facebook forecast.
Storms are expected to develop across south central Pima County that could produce brief but heavy downpours.
There’s a possibility of minor flooding and strong winds.
The second area of storms are to develop across the east central mountains of Arizona.
That area of storms in the northern Graham and Greenlee counties are expected to merge with the Tucson-area storms, tracking across the Tohono O’Odham Nation, the Weather Service said.
