When and where: Nov. 28, 1999, at the then-Quarter Horse Tavern, 4764 S. Sixth Ave.
The victims: Ruth Todd, 54, and Robert Ramos, 64, two unrelated patrons at the bar.
Investigator: Detective Todd Berson with the Tucson Police Department, who's also a member of the Fugitive Investigative Strike Team, a multi-agency task force.
Summary: At the time, police said Leonides Bohorquez Torres, then 25, was asked to leave the Quarter Horse Tavern by security around 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday night after a being involved in a fight. He was visibly drunk, according to witness statements.
Two hours later, Torres returned to the bar, carrying a shotgun, authorities said, firing several rounds, killing Todd and Ramos and wounding five others.

A warrant for his arrest was issued two days after the shooting. Torres has not been seen since the shooting. He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
The latest information: Torres was featured on America's Most Wanted in November 2000. Several leads developed after the TV spot, Berson said. But the case has grown cold, he said, and there are now no major investigative leads.
Torres is believed to have family in Tucson and Texas and authorities think he's traveling between Tucson and Phoenix, with the aid of family members, Berson said. He would be in his mid-30s now.
