A 32-year-old man shot outside a midtown strip club early Sunday morning has died.
Anthony Holguin was shot just after 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Ten’s Showclub at 5120 E. Speedway, Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson police spokeswoman, said in a news release.
An argument between two groups of people evolved into a physical fight, which ended with several shots being fired in the parking lot, the release said.
A white SUV was seen speeding from the scene and when officers began to pursue it, the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby neighborhood and the occupants fled on foot, the release said. Â
One man was detained.
Holguin was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
This is the second fatal shooting at the club in just over a week. On Dec. 22, Hilario Salcido, 26, was shot and killed. Three other men were shot in that incident.
