Parents seeking help dealing with their misbehaving children and discipline are invited to a free course offered by St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church.
The free, seven-week series, "Love and Logic," will be taught by Judy Robinson, a teacher and parent. The course will begin Sunday and run for seven successive weeks at 10:45 a.m. in Room 41 on the St. Francis campus, 4625 E. River Road, at North Swan Road.
The course is based on Jungian principles. A set of DVDs will be used to spark discussion and interaction among participants. The program includes role playing, written responses and handouts that outline various techniques.
The major focus of the course is on viewing misbehavior as the "child's problem" in terms of righting wrongs and taking responsibility for one's actions.
More information is available online at the "Love and Logic" website, www.loveandlogic.com, or call the church office at 299-9063.
