Interstate 10 widening work is scheduled at Grant Road this weekend. The intersection is scheduled to be closed today and until 6 a.m. Monday.
The project entails widening I-10 to four lanes in each direction from West Prince Road to West 29th Street, and rebuilding several bridges in between.
This week, in addition to ongoing lane restrictions throughout the work area, watch for:
Alternating lane closures are scheduled on Grant Road at I-10 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The right lanes of Grant Road are scheduled to be closed in both directions Tuesday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Several daytime and overnight temporary closures are scheduled on the east- and westbound frontage roads from Prince Road to 29th Street. Watch for signs in the area.
