Banner University Medical Center-Tucson, Director of Emergency and Pre-Hospital Services
Bachelors of Science in Nursing
Emergency Nurses Association
I am the second of four siblings, with an older sister and a younger sister and brother. I was born in El Paso, Texas, alongside my sister, and raised in a family deeply rooted in military service. Both of my parents served, as did my grandparents on both sides, and my twin sister has continued that legacy. Nursing has been a constant influence throughout my life. My father served as an Army Nurse and as an emergency nurse on the civilian side. My mother is also a nurse and has worked in specialties such as dialysis and adult tele. I joined the profession initially unsure but through different roles in emergency, ICU, and hospital operation I have developed a deep appreciation and love for our profession. I have always aimed to be a "nurse's nurse", dependable and team focused. leadership has become a natural progression, allowing me to work and create environments where patients and staff can thrive. I have called Tucson home for several years and am joined by my wife, Michelle, and our daughter Eko.
