I am a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Community Living Center Hospice Unit at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, where I provide compassionate, Veteran-centered end-of-life care to those who have served our nation. Having begun my career as a caregiver and nursing assistant, I consider it a profound honor to support Veterans and their loved ones during life’s most meaningful moments, and I view hospice nursing as sacred work centered on dignity, comfort, and authentic human connection.

My commitment to ensuring that every Veteran feels seen, valued, and supported has been recognized with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses and the Starfish Award, though the greatest reward is knowing I have made a difference in the lives of those entrusted to my care.
I am most proud of my three daughters, who embody the same spirit of service and leadership. My two eldest currently serve in the U.S. Navy, while my youngest is building a successful career in the private sector.
As I continue working toward my Registered Nurse licensure, I remain dedicated to advancing high-quality, compassionate hospice care and improving the experience of Veterans across Southern Arizona.
