Arizona wing Pelle Larsson confirmed on Instagram that he's leaving for the NBA Draft as expected.
Larsson played his way into becoming a projected second-round pick while proving one of Arizona's most versatile and productive players last season, ensuring he would not use his remaining year of eligibility to return to school.
Projected as a combo guard in the NBA and especially valued for his productivity in the pick-and-roll, Larsson is ranked No. 45 on ESPN's list of Top 100 available NBA prospects.
In his farewell post, Larsson issued a long list of thanks -- to UA staffers, coaches, teammates, managers, trainers, doctors, media and "EMOY" (equipment manager Brian Brigger) along with other support staffers.
"These past years have been some of the best of my life," Larsson said. "Tucson, and the McKale Center, will always have a special place in my heart. I am extremely grateful to Tommy Lloyd for bringing me to Arizona to play with incredible teammates and win championships. I am proud to call myself a Wildcat for life."

A native of Sweden, Larsson spent the past three seasons with the Wildcats after spending his freshman season of 2020-21 at Utah.
As a fourth-year senior last season, Larsson averaged 12.8 points and 4.1 rebounds while leading UA in assists per game (3.7) and shooting 42.5% from 3-point range. He also became Arizona's first academic all-American since 1991, receiving second-team honors from the College Basketball Communicators.
While ESPN ranked him at No. 45, just below former UA teammate Keshad Johnson, Bleacher Report projects Larsson as the No. 40 pick in the June NBA Draft and the Ringer has him at No. 43Â while NBADraft.net does not list Larsson in its two-round projection.Â
