It was fun to sit and chat with Janice Hoover, our 2025 SBWGA-18 Most Improved Player, and I would like to share part of our conversation with you.
Janice started golfing when she was 5, playing with her dad and four brothers when the weather permitted. Her love and passion for the game continues. It has become a family time with her husband, sons and now their grandchildren! Golf is something they all enjoy.
Janice and her husband, Jeff, moved to SaddleBrooke in 2023 from Liberty Lake, Washington where they lived on the Liberty Lake Golf Course. They have golfed in many places (Hawaii, Florida and Canada to name a few).
The SBWGA-18 is the first league Janice has played in and she has found it to be a positive experience and a learning process. Her favorite part of being in the league is meeting and playing with our ladies. Her favorite part of golf is that “really good shot!”
