Brotherly love is bringing UA offensive lineman Joe Barresi back to Oklahoma.
Barresi, a freshman who redshirted last season, has left Tucson and is expected to join his twin brother, Ben, on the Sooners' offensive line this season.
Both were prized recruits out of Edmond (Okla.) North High School. Joe Barresi enrolled at the UA in January 2005 after graduating early from high school.
"I decided that Ben and I are two stronger people together. Not only better people, but better athletes and better football players together," Joe Barresi told The Oklahoman.
"We both think that we would both do better together. We're more committed, more devoted together. That's what made us good in high school."
UA spokesman Tom Duddleston said coach Mike Stoops was aware of Barresi's departure. Stoops' brother Bob is the coach at OU.
