The folks behind Country Thunder aren’t taking a breath.
They’ve already set things in motion for the 2015 festival, to be held April 9-12. No lineup has been announced, but four-day tickets went on sale for $99 on Wednesday.
Campsites, starting at $160, also are up for grabs. This year, every campsite was gone long before the lineup was announced.
The 2014 festival, with Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean headlining, set an attendance record, organizers said. Final numbers haven’t been released, but going into Sunday’s finale with Aldean, the festival had already seen 75,600 people over three days.

Country-pop band Sawyer Brown, which performed last Friday, had the best Country Thunder GPS betrayal. This is what they said on Facebook: “The runner who was driving us to the festival pulled the van up to a prison — yep, prison! — and said, ‘Well, the GPS is telling me this is the right address.’ Which reminds me, it’s been a long time since we played a show wearing matching orange jumpsuits.”
