A Tucson teenager with a lengthy criminal history was indicted this morning on charges pertaining to a police stand-off that left one officer stabbed and another shot.
Travis O’Neal Hylton, 17, is facing three counts of attempted first-degree murder, nine counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangerment.
In addition to the three officers, Hylton is accused of pointing a gun at two people and endangering his child.
At the time of Hylton’s arrest on May 11, Tucson police said Hylton broke into a home near East Prince and North Mountain roads where his sister was babysitting his 14-month-old child.
When officers Edward Boyen and Dawn Paglinawan arrived, Hylton had barricaded himself inside with the baby.
The officers forced their way inside the house, but Hylton managed to get Boyen to the ground and stab him three times.

Paglinawan grabbed the child and shot Hylton once, hitting him in the shoulder.
As Paglinawan was helping Boyen out of the house, Hylton followed them, firing Boyen’s gun at them.
Hylton went back into the house and was trying to run through a back door when he ran into other officers. He shot one of those officers, Yoel Friedman, in the leg.
Friedman fired back four times but did not hit Hylton.
Officers later found Hylton hiding in a nearby yard.
An investigation determined Hylton emptied Boyen’s gun, which carries 15 rounds.
Pima County court records show Hylton has been arrested on 44 criminal offenses since the age of 10.
All but six of those charges have been dismissed because doctors deemed Hylton was incompetent to stand trial and unable to assist in his defense.
Hylton’s attorney, Assistant Pima County Public Defender Kyle Ipson, could not be reached immediately.
