Tucson police are at the scene of an accident at Interstate 10 and West Ruthrauff Road.
The call came in about 7:30 about an accident with unknown injuries possibly involving three vehicles, said Officer Frank Amado, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Some of the vehicles may be blocking the roadway and causing delays, Amado said.
A motorcycle accident on Picture Rocks Road also slowed traffic west of the Tucson Mountains Friday morning, a Pima County sheriff’s dispatch supervisor said.
The accident occurred at 5:30 a.m. and resulted in serious injuries so deputies continue to investigate. At 7:20 a.m., most of the slowing was due to motorists braking to take a look, the dispatcher said.
Traffic on Interstate 10 was flowing smoothly through Tucson.
