A 68-year-old woman died Saturday afternoon in a single vehicle rollover crash on the south side, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Valencia and South Headley roads, east of Mission Road, said Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
No other injuries were reported. The woman was the only person in the car.
The woman was driving west on Valencia Road when she lost control of her car and struck the median at Headley, Pacheco said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Tucson police have shut down the westbound lanes of Valencia Road at Headley.
Officers expect the westbound lanes to be closed for the next four hours as detectives investigate the crash, he said.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The woman's name was not released pending notification of her family.
