Spaghetti, salad with breadsticks and lots of fun were on the menu Sunday at the 27th annual B'sghetti Bash at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road.
The event also featured a silent auction and a grand prize raffle for a vacation package to Disney World.
Kids' entertainment included the Tanque Verde Community 4-H Petting Zoo, face painting, clowns and an inflatable jumping castle and slide.
The bash raises money for the center's early childhood program, said program director Charlotte Gould.
In the past seven years it's raised between $15,000 and $22,000.
With the bad economy, she said, "We'd be happy with the 15 ($15,000) but would love more."
There are 325 children in the program, Gould said, adding that it is more than a baby-sitting program.

"At the early learning development program, we play with them, we love them and we teach them," she said.
The program has flexible schedules to accommodate families. The children can attend as few as two days a week, Monday through Friday, and as many as five.
The dinner itself is an opportunity for some quality multigenerational family time where extended family can gather and have fun, Gould said.
